About me
My name is Wei Zhang. I have been shooting different styles of photography for the last 25 years. While in college, I worked as a photo journalist for a local newspaper. I really enjoyed my work because I get to capture people's story while they were in their environments. I consider wedding day photography is very similar to photo journalism. I have done a fair share of wedding photo shoots with people from varies of cultural backgrounds. I has always been fun to emerge myself in different traditions and capture people's special day.

As an artist, I appreciate image quality. Both the quality for enlargements and the contents/compositions. Over the years, I have worked with all major brands of cameras and I'm also very familiar working with off the camera flashes (OCF). Last four years, I have been mainly shooting portraits and fashion using natural and artificial light sources. To me light is light, just need to control and utilize them for the best looks.
